Let's talk about the math.

An on-site hire is never just a salary.

It's visa processing, relocation, employment setup, and months of operational overhead before the first pixel ships.

A remote hire strips all of that away. You pay for one thing: the work.

But the math only holds if my side holds too. Deep focus. Ambitious targets. Delivery measured in weeks, not quarters. Remote doesn't survive ten years on convenience. It survives on results.

You cut the overhead. I bring the outcomes. That's been the deal for a decade.

How collaboration works.

My working day runs on Gulf time. Standups, design reviews, and stakeholder sessions happen live, the same as they would with anyone on your floor.

  • Live overlap, every day. Full availability during GCC business hours for calls, reviews, and pairing sessions.
  • Async by default, meetings by exception. Loom walkthroughs, written design rationale, and documented decisions mean your team never waits on a meeting to move.
  • Your tools, not mine. Figma, FigJam, Miro, Slack, Notion, Jira. I plug into whatever your team already runs on.

Getting started is simple.

No special setup. No legal research project for your HR team. Pick the route your finance team already knows:

  • Contracting platforms: RemotePass handles compliance, contracts, and invoicing end to end. I've onboarded through it before; it takes days, not weeks.
  • Direct B2B: I operate through an officially registered business, so direct contracts with formal invoicing work just as well if you prefer to skip the middle layer.
  • Payments: Invoice in USD or SAR through RemotePass or direct business invoicing, depending on what works best for your finance team.
  • Confidentiality: Comfortable with NDAs and the documentation discipline that regulated products (SAMA, CBB) demand. Written specs and audit-ready decision trails are how I already work.

Some moments are better in person. I am available for planned on-site kickoffs, onboarding, and key workshops where travel arrangements allow.

Between visits, my setup is built for reliability: redundant internet connections and backup power keep calls and delivery uninterrupted.

Have you actually worked with GCC companies remotely before?

For a decade. Open banking consent flows for Tarabut (Bahrain/KSA), marketplace design for BUILTOP (KSA), automotive e-commerce for Cars24 Arabia. Sometimes on-site for a few months when the work called for it, mostly fully remote, always with measurable outcomes you can see in my case studies.

How do design reviews and critique work remotely?

Live in Figma during overlap hours, with recorded walkthroughs and written rationale for anything async. Stakeholders review on their own time; decisions get documented so nothing lives in someone's memory.

What about Arabic and RTL work?

Arabic is my first language and RTL is my default canvas, not an adaptation step. If your product serves Arabic-speaking users, this is the difference between translated design and native design.
